Here in Italy patios and terraces are very popular. In the city having a terrace is very common, however compared to the U.S. their terraces are quite narrow but long and don’t allow much space for furniture. Lucky for my neighbors they have the perfect terrace which they use every night. When I sit down to dinner I look out my kitchen window and see them eating as well, I must admit I’m extremely jealous of them! I mean take a look at the size of that thing! It’s huge!! They even have a grill hidden behind that tree. Overall I love their deck but I think it could use a little, umm, spice. Maybe some nice lounge chairs or an outdoor couch. I’ve also noticed they don’t have much lightening outside, perhaps some lanterns or string lights could really help.
